Truck crash closes all lanes of I-40 Eastbound

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) –

Knoxville Fire Department reported the crash happened just before noon and all lanes of I-40 eastbound are closed between Asheville Highway and 640 due to the collision.

Knoxville Police Department said officers are now working a single-vehicle crash involving a semi-truck on I-40 East at I-640 near Asheville Highway. The crash knocked over a utility pole. All lanes are blocked. Traffic is being diverted to Rutledge Pike.
