Woman allegedly brought meth to inmate in reception and treatment center

LINCOLN, Nebraska (KOLN) – An Omaha woman was arrested after giving meth to a treatment center patient last September, according to the Nebraska State Patrol.

Tequilla Morgan-Priestino, 46, was arrested Tuesday after an inmate overdosed on methamphetamine at the Reception and Treatment Center.

On September 29, 2023, a patient at the Intake and Treatment Center overdosed after ingesting meth. The day before the overdose, the patient had three visitors. According to an arrest affidavit, it was confirmed that Morgan-Priestino gave the patient unknown items during the visit.

After the overdose, the patient underwent medical intervention to remove foreign bodies from his body.

During the course of the investigation, authorities learned that during a phone conversation with inmate Morgan-Priestino, officers did not see them passing around a suspected dose of meth during her visit.

A lab report from the Nebraska State Patrol Crime Lab confirmed that the three packages given to the patient contained approximately 5 grams of meth.

Morgan-Priestino was charged with intentional delivery, distribution, dispensing, manufacture and possession of a dangerous drug.

An arrest warrant was issued against her on August 9. It was lifted on September 25.

No further court date has been set.
