No credible threat found after search of Chaparral High School, police say

SCOTTSDALE, Arizona. – Chaparral High School in Scottsdale was locked down on Wednesday as police investigated a suspected threat.

The school is located near Scottsdale Road and Shea Boulevard. No injuries were reported.

According to police, no credible threat was found after searching the school.

“The school is on lockdown and officers are actively clearing the campus. STAY AWAY from campus until the all clear is given,” Scottsdale police wrote on X. “An initial sweep of the entire campus has been completed and no credible threat to students or staff has been identified. Officers are conducting a second sweep of the campus.”
