Julie Chrisley was sentenced to seven years in prison on Wednesday for bank fraud and tax evasion.

The “Chrisley Knows Best” star won a legal victory in June when a three-judge panel found a legal error in calculating Chrisley's sentence for the bank fraud she was accused of along with her husband, Todd Chrisley.

Chrisley's attorney, Alex Little, argued that she played only a minor role in the crimes, which the Associated Press described as “isolated offenses” and “dramatic errors,” and asked the court to reduce her sentence to no more than five years.

Chrisley appeared in court on Wednesday and addressed the judge.

“I apologize for my actions and for what brought me to where I am today,” she said, adding that her time in prison was “the most difficult time of my life” and hard on her family.

The 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals nevertheless upheld the convictions against Julie and Todd, who sentenced to a total of 19 years in prison in November 2022 after a jury found the pair guilty of conspiracy to defraud community banks of more than $30 million in fraudulent loans and conspiracy to defraud the IRS.
