“Extreme Makeover” star Eduardo Xol killed in Palm Springs

A Palm Springs man who apparently died in hospital after a stabbing once appeared on “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” as well as other reality shows and telenovelas.

Eduardo Xol, 58, of Palm Springs, appeared in 65 episodes of the ABC television series from 2005 to 2012, according to online entertainment database IMDB. The website lists Xol as the show's designer and as a cast member appearing as himself in a dozen other shows from 2005 to 2012. Earlier in his career, Xol appeared in telenovelas such as “Acapulco, cuerpo y alma” and “La jaula de oro.”
