Arsenal vs. Bolton player ratings – Two players receive top ratings

Arsenal secured a convincing 5-1 win over Bolton in the Carabao Cup tonight. Here are our player ratings.

Jack Porter – 6.0

The result made it a debut to forget, but his inexperience was evident in every Bolton attack.

Josh Nichols – 6.5

Played the full 90 minutes and had a decent game as right defender.

Jakub Kiwior – 7

Had to lead an inexperienced Arsenal defence and did a good job.

Riccardo Calafiori – 7

Another start for Arsenal and another great performance from the Italian who wins our hearts.

Myles Lewis-Skelly – 7.5

Fearless performance from the young player, attacking when necessary without failing in his defensive duty.

Declan Rice – 8.0

The midfielder's performance, which included dominating the midfield, scoring and leading from the centre, earned him the man of the match award.

Jorginho – 6.5

He didn't have to do much and his legs failed him as he had to catch Aaron Collins before the attacker could score.

Ethan Nwaneri – 8.0

An outstanding performance from the teenager and he deserved the two goals. He could have scored more and probably gave Mikel Arteta a selection headache.

Raheem Sterling – 7.5

He was Arsenal's most dangerous man for much of the evening and it would have been unfair if he hadn't scored.

Gabriel Jesus – 6.0

He has caused Bolton a lot of problems with his movement, but he is a striker and needs to start scoring goals.

Bukayo Saka – 7.5

Starboy was at his best as usual and caused Bolton a lot of trouble on Arsenal's right wing.

Substitute

Kai Havertz – 7.0

Came in and breathed new life into Arsenal's attack. He deserved his goal.

Replaced the injured Lewis-Skelly and helped Arsenal to a comfortable win.

Maldini Kacurri – 6.5

Looked confident and secure when he came

Gabriel Martinelli – 6.5

His enormous energy made it more difficult for Bolton to get out of their half.
