Two people arrested on drug charges in Madison | News

MADISON, Wisconsin – Madison police arrested two people on drug charges on the city’s east side Tuesday morning.

Police said they attempted to stop a black Chevrolet in the area of ​​E Washington Avenue and Hagan Drive. Officers found the vehicle after it attempted to drive away and it was located in a neighboring precinct.

During the search of the apartment, officers seized drugs, additional firearms and a large amount of cash.

The man was arrested for participating in a crime, namely maintaining a drug house, possession of cocaine with intent to resell and possession of THC with intent to resell. Police also arrested another man for fleeing, possession of cocaine with intent to resell and possession of THC with intent to resell.
