A Marshalltown man was arrested after police say he sexually abused two children. Jose Macias Flores, 43, is in the Marshall County Jail. Investigators say the sexual abuse was reported in April. According to the criminal complaint, Macias Flores repeatedly and intentionally touched the minors inappropriately. MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa —

A Marshalltown man was arrested after police say he sexually abused two children.

Jose Macias Flores, 43, is in the Marshall County Jail. Investigators say the sexual abuse was reported in April.

According to the indictment, Macias Flores repeatedly and intentionally touched the minors inappropriately. He is accused of assault with intent to sexually abuse and sexual abuse of a child.

He is expected to appear in court again on October 4.
