The Secret Service is investigating the report that an agent sexually harassed a Harris employee

The US Secret Service (USSS) is investigating an agent accused of sexually harassing a staffer for Vice President Harris' presidential campaign.

Real Clear Politics first reported the allegations on Wednesday. According to four USSS sources, the incident occurred last week in Wisconsin.

According to the report, several USSS agents and Harris campaign staff were in Green Bay to set up security for an upcoming rally. The Green Bay rally ultimately did not take place and the campaign moved the venue to Atlanta, Georgia, after holding a rally in Madison, Wisconsin on Friday.

After the staff and agents finished their work for the day, they had a drink at a local restaurant before heading to the victim's hotel room – where the alleged assault had taken place.

The suspect, who was drunk at the time, forced himself on the victim and began to grope her, the report states. The incident was witnessed by other people.

The suspect was reportedly so drunk that his co-workers threw him out of their hotel room and he fell asleep in the hallway.

A Secret Service spokesperson confirmed an investigation to Fox News Digital, but did not disclose whether a Harris aide was involved.
