PlayStation State of Play September 2024: All the most important announcements

Sony's latest State of Play event took place today, September 24th, and featured over 30 minutes of news and announcements for more than 20 games. In this gallery, we've rounded up all the major announcements.

Sony treated viewers to a selection of PS5 and PSVR 2 games from first- and third-party studios. The existence of State of Play was leaked in advance, as was one of the show's anticipated reveals, the Soul Reaver 1+2 remastered collection, which was later confirmed during the briefing.

Perhaps the biggest news was saved for last when Sony announced a sequel to Ghost of Tsushima titled Ghost of Yotei.

In other PlayStation news, the PS5 Pro will launch in November, but pre-orders for the $700 console won't open until September 26. The snazzy-looking PS5 30th anniversary system will launch later in November.
