New Diddy conspiracy theory says the 'baby oil' discovered by federal authorities in March raids is a 'date rape drug' | Hollywood

The 14-page federal indictment against Sean “Diddy” Combs was released on Tuesday, September 17. It addresses discoveries at his mansions after federal authorities raided his property in March. Official documents show that authorities seized “various freak-off items, including narcotics and more than 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricants.”

But like every other aspect of the controversial music mogul's life, these findings are being critically examined, which has only led to a new conspiracy theory.

New Diddy conspiracy theory

The X/Twitter user recently tweeted that the “baby oil” bottles were quite different than what one might have expected. “Rumors are circulating that the feds did not confiscate 'baby oil' from P. Diddy, but rather thousands of bottles of the drug GHB, known on the street as 'liquid ecstasy.'”

The extensive federal documents talk about the out-of-control drug and sex parties the rapper allegedly organized. Some other mentions of drugs or narcotics in the indictment include:

  • “COMBS secured the women's participation by, among other things, obtaining and distributing narcotics to them, controlling their careers, exploiting and threatening to withdraw his financial support, and using intimidation and violence.”
  • “After freak offs, COMBS and the victims were typically given intravenous fluids to help them recover from the physical exertion and drug use.”

What is GHB?

Although the allegations against the mogul suggest that victims who were forced to participate in tightly orchestrated sexual activities were sometimes drugged, there is no way to confirm whether the seized baby oil is also some kind of drug. “The freak-offs sometimes lasted several days, involved multiple commercial sex workers, and often involved a variety of narcotics such as ketamine, ecstasy and GHB, which Combs distributed to the victims in an effort to make them obedient and submissive,” Damian Williams, the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, told the press last week.

What GHB is, the U.S. Department of Justice's Drug Enforcement Administration describes as gamma-hydroxybutyric acid. Abuse of GHB and its analogues became popular among teenagers in the 1990s “because they can increase libido, suggestibility, and passivity, and cause amnesia (no memory of events under the influence of the substance) – characteristics that make victims vulnerable to sexual assault and other criminal acts.”

It eventually acquired the notorious nickname “date rape drug.” Other common street names for GHB include Easy Lay, G, Georgia Home Boy, Goop, Grievous Bodily Harm, Liquid Ecstasy, Liquid X, and Scoop.

Diddy's lawyer responds to his baby oil and lubricant stash in homes

Meanwhile, Combs' lawyer Marc Agnifilo has also commented on why his client had a bottomless supply of lubricant and baby oil in his homes. “I don't know where the number thousand comes from [from] … I can't imagine it's thousands. I'm not really sure what the baby oil has to do with it,” he told TMZ for the upcoming documentary “The Downfall of Diddy: The Indictment.”

When asked if these supplies were to be used as “lubricant for an orgy,” Agnifilo said, “I don't know what you need a thousand for – a bottle of baby oil goes a long way.”

His lawyer explained that Diddy has a big house and buys in bulk. “I think everywhere he has a house there's a Costco. Have you ever sat in the parking lot of a Costco and seen what people take?”

Sean Combs was formally charged with three counts: conspiracy to commit organized crime, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, and transportation for the purpose of prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty and is being held without bail.
