With Killer Heat hitting Prime Video this week, we're excited to give our readers an exclusive look at a clip from the upcoming thriller. Killer Heat tells the story of an American private investigator who has emigrated to Greece and is hired by a woman to investigate the death of her brother-in-law. But the tricky part is that the brother-in-law's family is up to some nefarious things.

The cast includes Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Richard Madden, And Shailene Woodley. “Killer Heat” is directed by Philippe Lacôte. The filmmaker previously worked on acclaimed films such as “Run” And “Night of Kings.”

Killer Heat is a suspenseful contemporary crime thriller in the classic noir style. It follows private detective Nick Bali (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), an American expat in Greece, who is hired to investigate the suspected accidental death of young shipping magnate Leo Vardakis (Richard Madden) on the island of Crete. The victim's sister-in-law (Shailene Woodley) doesn't believe the official police report. But what exactly happened to Leo and why? Despite the sun-drenched beauty of the exotic Mediterranean setting, Nick encounters darkness everywhere: where the rich and powerful Vardakis family rules like gods, where jealousy is high and anyone could be a suspect.
