UFC 310 records “The Ultimate Fighter” winner for 20th UFC fight

UFC 310 just keeps getting better.

The UFC's final pay-per-view event of 2024 is scheduled to take place on December 7 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Currently, the schedule is far from full with three confirmed bouts, including Chase Hooper vs. Clay Guida and Anthony Smith vs. Dominick Reyes.

Ten weeks before the event, there is a new addition to UFC 310 with two veterans. In his 20th fight under the UFC flag, Michael Chiesa will face Max “Pain” Griffin in a welterweight bout, as MMA Fighting reported on Thursday.

Chiesa (17-7) recently ended a three-fight losing streak by defeating Tony Ferguson in August at UFC Abu Dhabi. In doing so, the 36-year-old extended Ferguson's losing streak to eight, the most consecutive losses by a fighter in UFC history.

Winning his contract on The Ultimate Fighter 15Chiesa has seen just about everything in the Octagon: he has amassed impressive winning streaks over the years and fought against the best in the world in a career that only lacks a title shot.

Griffin (20-10) has alternated wins and losses in his last five fights. In his last appearance in February, he was on the right side of a split decision against Jeremiah Wells. The Californian Griffin, who made his UFC debut in 2016, has fought in the Octagon 16 times and compiled a record of 8-8.
