Cardi B says she 'regrets' Offset when he accuses her of cheating during pregnancy

Cardi B didn't hold back after Offset accused her of cheating on him during her pregnancy.

On Wednesday, September 25, the estranged couple engaged in a heated exchange on Instagram and X (formerly Twitter).

During an Instagram Live in which Cardi (real name Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar), 31, took swipes at Offset (real name Kiari Kendrell Cephus), 32, her ex accused her of infidelity while expecting their child.

“You have a baby inside you, tell the truth!!”, he commented according to Hollywood Unlocked and EAR!.

Shortly after Offset made this remark, Cardi commented to X, “AND DID !!!!!!,” leading fans to speculate that the rapper was confirming the Migos artist’s accusation.

On X, the “WAP” musician added: “An injured Nikka will do the unthinkable.”

During her Instagram Live, the “Bodak Yellow” singer confessed how grateful she is to have three children from her relationship, but ultimately she “regrets” her ex.

“But fuck you, I feel sorry for you,” Cardi said. “I'm too good for you. I've always been too good for you.”

She added: “Since you wanna f***ing threaten me, when you talk about wanting to take my shit away from me, you wanna take my shit away from me because I keep going? Keep going. Keep going. Why can't you keep going?”

Cardi also seemed to hint that the former couple's legal battle would be difficult.

“It's no fun when Mom has the gun, is it?” she asked. “Now we want to start a war, don't we?”

Representatives for Cardi and Offset have not yet responded to PEOPLE's request for comment.

Cardi and Offset, who have a daughter, Kulture Kiari Cephus, a son, Wave Set Cephus, and a baby girl due in September 2024, have had an on-off relationship over the years.

The couple first sparked romance rumors in February 2017 when they attended Super Bowl LI together. In October of the same year, Offset proposed to the Cardi artist during Power 99's Powerhouse concert in Philadelphia. However, it was revealed that this happened after Cardi and Offset secretly tied the knot on September 20, 2017.

The “Drip” singer has filed for divorce from the “Open It Up” artist twice – first in September 2020 and again in July 2024. Shortly thereafter, Cardi announced on Instagram that she was expecting their third child together. Her little daughter was born just a month later.
