Greenwood students were arrested and accused of having weapons on campus

Greenwood police arrested two students accused of having a gun on school grounds during a freshman football game. Police learned about the gun while investigating a case in which a gun was stolen from an unlocked vehicle. The two students were booked into the Sebastian County Detention Center. No verbal or physical threats were made against the school, and police say there is no evidence that the weapon was on school property during the day. The school contacted parents of students who may have interacted with the two arrested.
