When three vehicles collided on Southern Boulevard, the car rolled several times

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — A person was pulled from the crumpled wreckage of a car after it overturned several times following a crash in West Palm Beach Thursday afternoon.

The accident, which occurred at the intersection of Southern Boulevard and Avocado Avenue at 1:36 p.m., resulted in major damage to one of the three vehicles involved, according to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue. Units arriving at the scene determined that it was necessary to extricate a person from the rubble.

Only one person involved in the accident had to be taken to a trauma center by ground troops. The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident.
