Vermont native Keegan Bradley is preparing to compete in the President's Cup

The Vermont native is making his triumphant return to one of golf's biggest team competitions, once again landing in Montreal. The President's Cup pits 12 of the best golfers from the United States against an international team, and Vermonter Keegan Bradley will be among the athletes competing for the United States. While the President's Cup is technically an away game for the United States, the elimination marks the first time since the 2014 Ryder Cup that the Woodstock, VT native is playing in a team competition. With Bradley set to be a Ryder Cup captain next year, he said he was grateful for this opportunity to be a team player and reflected on how his time in Vermont as a child shaped his professional golf career. While Bradley was originally earmarked for the competition as Jim Furyk's assistant captain, now that he is a player he remains adamant that his sole focus is on his performance on the pitch. NBC5's President's Cup coverage begins Thursday at Four Balls, which you can watch live. Noah Cierzan will share more about Bradley's journey starting at 6 p.m
