Schaumburg car crash: 1 injured in tractor-trailer crash on I-90 in northwest suburbs, Illinois State Police said

SCHAUMBURG, Ill. (WLS) – One person was injured in a traffic accident Thursday evening on I-90 in the northwest suburbs.

The accident occurred near Roselle Road in Schaumburg, Illinois, around 4:44 p.m., state police said.

A gray Chevrolet SUV crashed into the rear of a tractor-trailer parked on the right shoulder of I-90, police said.

Chopper was over the scene and the SUV appeared to be significantly damaged.

The driver of the SUV was taken to a local hospital with injuries, police said.

“The two right lanes of Interstate 90 eastbound are closed for the investigation, with traffic moving on the left shoulder and in Lane 1,” the ISP said in a statement.
