The “Try” singer makes it clear that she has nothing to do with Diddy as the rapper continues to struggle with legal issues following his arrest in New York following a grand jury indictment.

Pink and several other stars have recently come under scrutiny for their alleged ties to Diddy. The singer, in particular, was criticized for allegedly deleting all of her tweets on X following Diddy's arrest and sex crime charges.

However, Pink has now clarified that her X account has been deleted since February and stressed that she has no relationship with Diddy.

She said: “I don't know why I made headlines this week but I deleted my Twitter account on February 6th!!!”

Pink added: “There is no truth to the rumors that have been spread this week and although I have met people in passing, I am not associated with any of the people mentioned.”

She also shared a photo of a tweet she made in February announcing her intention to delete her X account.

On Sunday, Usher's X account was shockingly deleted, quickly causing a stir among social media users.

While the incident wouldn't have sparked much curiosity on a normal day, the fact that it happened after Diddy's highly publicized arrest changed everything.

Usher and Diddy have had a close collaboration since the '90s, with the latter reportedly producing the R&B singer's first album. With Diddy now accused of sex crimes and other sordid revelations coming to light, fans began to speculate that the sudden deletion of Usher's X account could be related to the rapper's ongoing legal troubles.

However, the “Ruin” crooner quashed these rumors with a reason that seems to explain why the incident should not be viewed as a deliberate act to hide something disturbing.

“The account was hacked and damn y’all ran,” he wrote on his page before announcing his next show at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.

Diddy's lawyer Marc Agnifilo recently announced that the rapper will defend himself in his criminal trial.

The high-profile case, which has garnered widespread attention, marks a pivotal point for Diddy as he faces charges of sex trafficking, extortion and solicitation for prostitution.

Appears on the TMZ In the documentary “The Downfall of Diddy: The Indictment,” released on September 25, Agnifilo admitted that the move could be quite a risk.

It will force Diddy to be cross-examined and asked several shocking questions. However, Agnifilo believes the Grammy winner appears to be in the best position to defend himself in court.

According to the rapper's lawyer, Diddy has a deeply painful story to tell as he takes the witness stand to defend himself.

“He has his story, and he has a story that I think only he can tell the way he can tell it in real time,” Agnifilo said via The mirror. “And it’s a human story. It's a story of love. It is a story of pain. It’s a story of heartbreak.”

The lawyer continued: “I mean, when he describes this relationship, the word he uses most often is heartbreak. He was heartbroken; she was heartbroken.”

If Diddy takes the stand, he would most likely face questions from prosecutors about the recent viral hotel surveillance clip of him physically assaulting his ex-girlfriend Cassandra “Cassie” Ventura.

He may also be questioned about his alleged drug sprees, called “freak offs,” as well as other sexual assault allegations that have recently been made against him.

The rapper could face life in prison for his alleged crimes

Diddy is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in New York after being arrested for racketeering, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution.

Despite attempts by his legal team, the rapper has been denied bail twice and remains in custody pending his trial, for which a date has not yet been set.

U.S. Attorney Damian Williams of the Southern District of New York has hinted that additional charges could potentially be filed against the rapper.

“I can’t take anything off the table. Anything is possible,” Williams said via CNN. He also mentioned that the Diddy investigation was “very active and ongoing” and that “the developments were certainly predictable.”

If Diddy is convicted of extortion, he could face life in prison. Additionally, the sex trafficking charge carries a statutory minimum sentence of 15 years.
