Eight were arrested on drug and weapons charges following the Bennington raid

Eight people were arrested after a raid on a home in Bennington.

Bennington police and other agencies searched 527 South St. Wednesday just before 3 p.m

Police found drugs and drug paraphernalia, a handgun with an extended magazine and $5,000 in cash, they said.

Darren Dwyer, 33; Amanda Gibbons, 40; Tia Woodin, 40; Kayla Willette, 34; Billie Jean Adams, 30; Nathan Silva, 33; Reina Sosa, 19, and Jordan Feliciano, 31, now face multiple charges and various penalties.

The Department of Homeland Security Investigations, the Vermont National Guard Counterdrug, the Bennington County Prosecutor's Office, the Bennington County Sheriff's Office and the United Counseling Service.
