Police arrested a 12-year-old student at Lewis Flamson Junior High School in Paso Robles on Thursday who allegedly made threats against the school on social media.

After receiving a tip on the social media platform Snapchat about a threat of violence against the middle school, both Paso Robles police officers and San Luis Obispo County sheriff's deputies responded to the school Wednesday afternoon. Investigators quickly identified the student who posted the threat.

Investigators interviewed the student and subsequently arrested him on criminal threats.

Additionally, law enforcement determined there was no credible threat to the campus.
