Penn Yan teen accused of threatening to kill another person – Finger Lakes Daily News

A 17-year-old in Penn Yan was arrested by village police for allegedly threatening to kill another person.

The teenager is accused of making the threat in the presence of the police.

The unidentified teen was charged with harassment and criminal contempt and released on an appearance ticket to appear at the Yates County Probation Department at a later date.

The fact that a defendant is accused of a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
