Which megalopolis has the live talking-to-the-screen scene?

Megalopolis Raises a lot of questions for those of us who haven't seen it. Things like: Want people Really Do you think this thing will be a masterpiece in a decade? Why is Aubrey Plaza's character called Wow Platinum and so are we allegedly laugh about it? What is Shia LaBeouf doing there? All that plus a large, general, Why?

However, we can answer one question: How can you ensure that your screening is a real person talking to Adam Driver on screen and not through a voiceover? If you haven't seen it yet All over Twitter/XThere was a moment in the Cannes premiere of the already wild film where a live actor asked Cesar Catalina, Driver's character, a canned question, which the character then answered during a press conference. Lionsgate increased the hype this week by recruiting more real people to attend IMAX screenings during the film's opening weekend. So how can you make sure you witness this innovative (?) and silly new technology? And can You Be the guy?

The answer is pretty simple, but you have to live in a relative megalopolis of your own. All screenings with a live element are labeled “The Ultimate Experience” on ticket seller websites and most, with only a few exceptions, take place on IMAX screens. Unfortunately, the options are quite limited. IndieWire Reports that out of 1,700 screens and 200 IMAX locations, only 34 different screenings will take place with the live participant on both Friday, September 27th and Saturday, September 28th. Others will instead hear a voice-over from a “journalist” offscreen.

It's unclear WHO will be given the honor of asking the question at these screenings, but there are rumors that theater staff or even audience members may be asked to come forward. If that's you, unfortunately you can't ask Driver if he would ever do that Girl Reboot or other burning questions you may have. There's a preset query that works within the film's plot, but Coppola would probably like to hear that someone has gone rogue. Do whatever you want with it.
