Sean “Diddy” Combs is accused of drugging and sexually assaulting a woman in a new civil lawsuit

CNN

Sean “Diddy” Combs was accused in another civil lawsuit of drugging and sexually abusing a woman. This is at least the 12th malpractice lawsuit he has faced in as many months.

In the lawsuit filed in New York and obtained by CNN on Friday, Jane Doe claims she was involuntarily drugged with alcohol and unknown substances on more than one occasion in 2022 and sexually abused by Combs in the summer of 2024, months after the rapper and producer had been named as a defendant in several court cases and was under federal investigation.

“During each visit, defendant Combs made her perform a show for him and plied her with alcohol and drugs until she passed out,” the complaint states. “She woke up with bruises and injuries but had no memory of how she sustained her injuries. This lasted until July 2024.”

According to an alleged incident cited in the complaint, in April 2022, Combs “forced Jane Doe to engage in vaginal intercourse without her consent” at his home. After another alleged incident in the spring of 2022, “Doe woke up and her feet were purple and bruised and she had a bite wound on her heel,” the complaint states. She knew how she had sustained her injuries.

Doe claims that in July 2022 she was forced to take ketamine in other drugs, she lost consciousness and was sexually assaulted, which resulted in her becoming pregnant. According to the complaint, one of Combs' co-workers repeatedly contacted her to encourage her to have an abortion, but later suffered a miscarriage.

According to the complaint, Combs “ordered” Jane Doe to his home in Miami, Florida, in July 2024 and “shoved two pills in Jane Doe's mouth” upon her arrival. During that alleged incident, Doe claimed she “tried to drink water, but it tasted strange and it made her feel uncomfortable.” The next morning, according to the lawsuit, Doe felt “sick and confused” and couldn't remember what had happened the night before.

The complaint states that Doe feared for her safety after witnessing Combs physically abuse other women. She believed her conversations and location were being monitored by him. According to the lawsuit, Combs harassed Doe with calls and text messages until July 2024.

CNN has reached out to Combs' representatives for comment. His companies and several of Combs' associates, identified as John Does, are also named as defendants.

“Powerful figures in the entertainment industry have a long history of exploiting emerging artists and fans. “Recent high-profile lawsuits aim to hold these celebrities accountable, potentially changing industry practices and bringing justice to victims,” Doe’s attorney Marie Napoli, whose legal representation includes Joseph L. Ciaccio, said in a statement CNN. “No one is above the law. Fame and fortune do not protect Sean 'Diddy' Combs from serious allegations of sex trafficking and abuse.”

The lawsuit is the latest allegation of sexual violence against Combs and comes a little more than a week after he was charged with conspiracy to commit racketeering, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution. Combs, 54, pleaded not guilty to the charge. He was denied bail and will remain in federal custody while awaiting trial.

Combs has been accused of alleged sexual misconduct and other illegal activities in about a dozen civil lawsuits. Before Friday's lawsuit, the latest civil lawsuit against Combs was filed Tuesday in New York. He has denied the allegations in several complaints and has not yet responded to others. One of the cases has been settled and eleven are still active.
