Chris Stapleton's Traveler Whiskey lands in the UK

Traveler Whiskey, created by Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Chris Stapleton and Buffalo Trace Distillery, will be released in the UK this October.

As his All-American Road Show tour comes to the UK, Stapleton's Traveler Whiskey is also heading to the UK. Made in collaboration with Sazerac-owned Buffalo Trace, the blended American whiskey is bottled at 45% abv and retails for £29 ($39).

Traveler debuted in the US in January and went on to win gold at The American Whiskey Masters 2024 blind tasting competition. The expression will be released in the UK from October 1 as Stapleton's tour visits cities across the country and in Ireland.

Stapleton was born in Lexington, Kentucky, next door to the Buffalo Trace Distillery. He met EH Taylor during the recording sessions for his first studio album. traveler, and now holds a bottle at his bar. He describes working with Buffalo Trace and master distiller Harlan Wheatley as a bucket list scenario that made perfect sense.

“Bottles from barrels that Harlen nurtured were in every note we ever recorded, backstage before shows, and in every moment we celebrated on the road,” Stapleton said. “I believe that what we have achieved with Traveler Whiskey represents not only our shared history, but also a shared artistic vision and uncompromising taste standards. I couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve created.”

Traveler Whiskey has notes of vanilla, ripe fruit and buttery shortbread on the nose, and spices, roasted nuts and oak on the palate.

It will also be available at Buffalo Trace's recently opened Covent Garden store in London and on Amazon.
