Three people were hospitalized and shot in the head after a fight in Somerville Park – Boston 25 News

SOMERVILLE, Mass. – Officers are investigating a fight between three people Thursday evening that resulted in serious facial injuries.

According to Somerville police, officers responding to a call for a fight at Seven Hills Park on Meacham Road in Davis Square just before midnight found a 53-year-old man with multiple cuts to his head near Statue Park. He was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said they received additional information from a local hospital that two adults arrived at the emergency room with serious but non-life-threatening facial injuries. These injuries were reportedly caused by a fight with an edged weapon.

On video near Seven Hills Park, three people can be seen fighting in the middle of the street. Some of them appear to be carrying weapons.

Investigators believe the three victims, who were hospitalized with facial injuries, were involved in the same altercation.

No arrests have been made and anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Somerville police at 617-625-1212.
