Two juveniles were arrested after making threats in Volusia County

According to the Volusia County Sheriff's Office, an 11-year-old and a 13-year-old were arrested after threatening others. Officers said they took the 11-year-old into custody Thursday morning after receiving a tip about an online threat emanating from his PlayStation. After examining the evidence and questioning the teenager, investigators accused the 11-year-old of making written death threats. Later that same day, the 13-year-old also received the same charge after sending threatening text messages to classmates with the sole purpose of making them fear for their safety, deputies said.
