Man charged with strangling and tying up woman: summary

MANCHESTER, NH – A Hillsborough County grand jury recently indicted the following individuals.

Nelson Cotton, 41, of Belgrade Street in Manchester, on charges of domestic violence and second-degree assault. He was accused of strangling another person in Manchester on May 15.

Daquhan Cromer, 27, of Auburn Street, Manchester, on charges of domestic violence-second-degree assault, domestic violence-kidnapping and criminal oppression, all felonies. He was accused of strangling an intimate partner in Manchester on March 25, tying her up, putting a sock in her mouth and telling her to shut up because there was a police officer outside.

Patrick Damboise, 54, of Bowers Street, Nashua, on a felony charge of receiving stolen property. He was accused of possessing a stolen Subaru Outback with Vermont plates in Manchester on August 4, 2022.

David Dearborn, 38, of Central Street, Manchester, was charged May 4 in Manchester with possession of fentanyl.

Melissa Deforge, 35, of Valley Street, Manchester, for tampering with physical evidence. Between Aug. 1, 2022, and Feb. 26, 2023, she was charged with failing to bring a person with an injury to medical care while investigating whether Matthew Venable caused the injury, the indictment states.

Jose Delgado Tarrats, 40, of Village Circle Way in Manchester for domestic violence and felon in possession of a dangerous weapon, both felonies. He was accused of threatening to kill another person by saying, “I'm going to hack you to pieces and no one will ever find you” or similar words, and that he had a Glock 17 in Manchester on June 2nd. Possessed firearm. Tarrats is a felon who was convicted of drug possession in June 2018 in Rockingham County Superior Court.

Robert Desmond, 43, a homeless man now in Manchester, charged with absconding over an incident on June 3 in Manchester.

Oumar Diallo, 22, of White Plains Road in the Bronx, New York, on two counts of theft and theft by deception, all felonies. He was accused of retaining more than $1,501 in another person's cash that he intended to use to rescue another person's son in New Boston and Bedford.
