Three men have been arrested following a burglary and police pursuit in Sussex County

LEWES, Del. – The Delaware State Police announced around 2:30 a.m. this morning that officers patrolling the Coastal Highway noticed a Honda swerving onto the road.
The police tried to stop the car, whereupon it fled at high speed. Later that same morning, police were dispatched to a break-in at Chic at the Beach. According to police, four suspects forced their way into the store and stole goods. Officers later found the same vehicle in the store, prompting another chase. The driver was identified as 20-year-old Ilon Melson of Washington DC. Two other suspects who fled the scene were later identified as 20-year-old Marcus Galmon, also of D.C., and 34-year-old Richard Francis of Hanover, Maryland. All three were arrested on a variety of charges. The police are currently looking for another unknown suspect.

Richard Francis was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 2, and is in the custody of the Department of Corrections on a $30,000 bond.

Marcus Gallmon was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 2 and remanded to Sussex Correctional Institution on $30,000 bail.
