Witnesses wanted in reckless driving accident | News

The woman managed to lose the deputy and two Scappoose Police Department officers during the chase by getting off the highway and driving over the St. John's Bridge. At that point, the Portland Police Bureau and the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office gave chase.

Teah Moami Deardorf, 31, of Portland, was taken into custody by Portland police. She was turned over to the Columbia County Sheriff's Office and booked into the Columbia County Jail on charges of reckless driving, attempting to elude and menacing.

While fleeing on Highway 30 between Scappoose and the St. John's Bridge, Deardorf allegedly drove into the oncoming lane. Anyone who witnessed Deardorf driving should contact Columbia County Sheriff's Office Dispatch at (503) 397-1521 and reference incident number 16040588.
