Police allowed more time to question suspected murder suspects

An autopsy revealed that the 19-year-old had been stabbed in the chest

Detectives investigating the fatal knife attack on a 19-year-old man have been given more time to question three suspects.

Norfolk Police were called Ground floor apartment on Lefroy Road in the Mile Cross area of ​​Norwich at 10.40pm BST on Saturday after fears a man had been attacked.

According to police, five arrests were made in connection with the incident.

Following an application at Norwich Magistrates Court, officers were given more time to interview a man and a woman in their 50s and a man in his 20s.

A post-mortem revealed the 19-year-old London man died from a stab wound to the chest and officials believe his body was in the apartment for around 30 minutes Eight days before the police were alerted.

Norfolk Police said there were five arrests in total

On Wednesday, police arrested a man and a woman in their 50s on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder.

On Wednesday night and into Thursday morning, police made a further three arrests, including a man in his 20s who was arrested on suspicion of murder and supplying controlled drugs, as well as a man in his late teens and a man in his 50s on suspicion of conspiracy to murder.

All five suspects continue to be questioned by police.
