Goshen man dies in high-speed crash; Suspect arrested on multiple charges – 95.3 MNC


A Goshen man died in a high-speed collision on US 33 on Saturday, September 21st. The accident occurred when the Nissan Rogue in which Justin Yoder, 37, was a passenger was allegedly struck by a Mercedes driven by Ethan Aza, 23, of Cromwell.

Yoder died as a result of his injuries at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.

Aza was arrested Thursday after the completed investigation was turned over to the Noble County District Attorney's Office. After verification, an arrest warrant was issued and state troopers arrested Aza at his home in Cromwell. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Noble County Jail, where he was held without bail.

Aza now faces multiple charges including:

Resisting Law Enforcement with a Vehicle Causing Death
Operating while intoxicated resulting in death
OWI causes serious bodily injury
Resisting law enforcement with a vehicle causing serious injury
Two counts of resisting law enforcement resulting in bodily harm
Driving a vehicle without a license

The investigation into the fatal accident continues as Aza awaits trial.
