GA woman accused of hiring hitman to kill husband – WSB-TV Channel 2

DOUGLAS, Ga. – A 48-year-old Georgia woman has been arrested in connection with a murder-for-hire investigation.

The Coffee County Sheriff's Office then contacted the Georgia Bureau of Investigation on September 5th A concerned citizen reported that 48-year-old Brandi Steverson of Douglas asked her if she should hire a hitman to kill her husband.

During the investigation, Steverson made a payment to an undercover GBI agent with the promise of paying more once her husband was killed, the GBI said.

As a result, Steverson was arrested on Tuesday and booked into the Coffee County Jail.

She is charged with criminal attempt to murder and conspiracy to commit murder.
