Teen arrested for Snapchat threat to Paso Robles school | Condition

PASO ROBLES, California — A 12-year-old Lewis Flamson Junior High student was arrested after he allegedly posted a threat of violence on Snapchat, according to Paso Robles police.

On September 24, 2024, at approximately 9:37 p.m., Paso Robles Police officers received information via Snapchat regarding a possible threat of violence against Lewis Flamson Junior High. Officers immediately began investigating the origin of the alleged threat. By September 26, 2024, they identified a 12-year-old student at the school who posted the threat on his Snapchat account. The student was questioned and subsequently arrested for making criminal threats.

The investigation determined there was no credible threat to the Lewis Flamson Junior High campus.
