Man accused of sexually assaulting a Brockton student is considered “dangerous,” prosecutors say

The man arrested in connection with the Sept. 17 sexual assault of a Brockton middle school student has been found to be dangerous, according to a news release from Plymouth District Attorney Timothy J. Cruz's office.

Marckenson Beauge, 22, of Brockton, was found dangerous and ordered held without bail following his dangerousness hearing Friday in Brockton District Court. He is charged with one count each of rape of a child with force, indecent assault and battery on a child under 14, and kidnapping of a child, the statement said.

Police responded to West Middle School on Sept. 18 for a report of an indecent assault and battery on a child. The girl told a school teacher that she had been sexually abused on her way home from school around 3:30 p.m

The student managed to free herself from her attacker. She described the clothing he was wearing and told police that he was missing his front teeth, had disheveled hair and rode a blue bicycle with white lettering and fat tires.

An investigation by Brockton police determined Beuge was the person involved in the attack after conducting “numerous interviews,” the release said.

As a result of that investigation, officers executed a search warrant on Sept. 20 at 20 Cherry St. in Brockton, where Beauge was believed to be living. However, when they arrived, no one was home.

Police were told Beauge worked at a fast food restaurant in Easton. Police took him into custody there without incident, Cruz's office said.

Beauge is scheduled to appear in court for a probable cause hearing on Oct. 29.
