Murder of Tefi Butt's brother-in-law: Three more people arrested – crimes

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Police claimed to have arrested three more suspects involved in the murder of Javed Butt, brother-in-law of Khawaja Tarif Gulshan alias Tefi Butt.

According to police, Amir Hafeez, a supporter involved in the murder of Javed Butt, was arrested based on the identification of the arrested gunmen.

Police said he removed the shooters' rickshaw and motorcycle from the Mayo Hospital parking lot.

The other two accused, Samar Gul and Shiraz Khan, were arrested in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

They had harbored the arrested gunmen Azhar and Ilyas. According to police, the fugitive accused Arif sent Azhar and Ilyas to arms dealer Akram Khan, who sent them to Samar and Shiraz in KP.

It is noted that the brother-in-law of Tefi Butt, prime suspect in the murder of Ameer Balaj Tipu, was shot dead and his wife injured in a gun attack in Ichrra near Muslim Town underpass.

According to police, Muhammad Javaid Butt, his wife and a daughter were traveling in a car when they were shot at by four unknown gunmen on two motorcycles.
