Culpeper police are offering a reward for information in this week's murder Public Safety and Crime

Culpeper police are offering a reward of up to $7,500 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of those responsible for the Sept. 25 murder of Noah Campbell.

The incident occurred around 3:34 a.m. when the Culpeper County E-911 Center received a report of a shooting in the 1000 block of Virginia Avenue, according to police. Responding officers from the Culpeper Police Department and the Culpeper County Sheriff's Office determined that Campbell, 25, of Boston, Virginia, had suffered a life-threatening gunshot wound. He was transported to UVA Health Culpeper Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Culpeper Police detectives, as well as members of the Culpeper County Sheriff's Office and Virginia State Police, are continuing the investigation. No suspects have been named at this time.
