Wildwood woman dies in Vineland crash

A Wildwood woman died early Saturday in Vineland when the vehicle she was a passenger in crashed.

Police were called to the area of ​​East Sherman Avenue and Hance Bridge Road at 12:34 a.m. for a single-vehicle accident, police said.

Armando Garcia, 52, of Vineland was driving east on Sherman Road when he turned into the wooded area just past Hance Bridge Road and struck a tree, the preliminary investigation states. The accident caused his 2009 Nissan Pathfinder to overturn.

Keila Osoria-Garcia, 37, died at the scene.

Garcia was taken to Cooper University Hospital for serious injuries. His condition is stable, police said.

The accident is being investigated by Officer Anthony Capelli. No charges have been filed at this time.
