Nick Saban talks Kalen DeBoer, Caleb Downs and more

Lane Kiffin appeared live on the show from the field in front of Ole Miss-Kentucky and was greeted by his former boss Saban.

“You look really, really relaxed,” Saban told Kiffin. “Much more relaxed than I was when I was in your ear and you were calling offensive plays and I was always questioning you. But you look good, man. You look really good.”

Kiffin was asked about Saban's recent television appearances in commercials, including one for Vrbo vacation rentals.

“I love Coach, but I never saw that side [as a coach]Kiffin said. “I actually saw those commercials. I paused it, replayed it and filmed it with my phone. I sent it to Kirby, I sent it to Sark and all those people.

“I was like, ‘Who is this guy, man? This guy is great.' He laughs and jokes. You have to rent an apartment and live with him. This isn't the most fun vacation, but that's okay.

Kiffin was then asked by Davis about a pick for Saturday night's game.

“Georgia has a 40-game winning streak? Regular season?” Kiffin said. “This is Alabama and they’re playing at Nick Saban Field tonight, so I have to go see the Roll Tide!”
