Cleveland Browns news (9/28): Defensive issues, keys to victory, injuries and more!

The Cleveland Browns find themselves in a rather bizarre world right now.

A year after posting a dominant 8-1 record at home while struggling on the road, the Browns have lost both home games this season. Your only victory? On the road in Week 2 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

If things have indeed turned around this year, the upcoming three-game road trip against the Las Vegas Raiders, Washington Commanders and Philadelphia Eagles could be just what the Browns need to shake off their early season blues.

Of course, that's probably just a coincidence, considering last season's home slate was mostly filled with weaker teams and the NFL is only three weeks into the 2024 season, so the sample size is small.

But the Browns have an opportunity in the next few weeks to escape a justifiably angry home crowd and focus on the task at hand, which is to pick up some wins before the season slips away from them.

The next opportunity to do so will be on Sunday against the Raiders. So as we all count down the hours until kickoff, let's kick off the weekend with the latest news and notes on Saturday Dawg Chow.
