Popular Twitch streamer Kai Cenat made his Little Basketball Association (aka Little Ballers Association) debut at Overtime Arena on Saturday. With a roster full of kids, a basketball court spruced up with an LBA logo, professional referees and a dedicated crowd of fans, it might be easy to forget that the newly formed league is a fictional racing sport created by Cenat.

In his September 27 stream, Cenat parodied a traditional NBA draft in which his audience saw him go from a promised third-round pick to the final draft pick. It was the latest viral skit from the streamer known for his elaborate pranks and celebrity guests, all from the comfort of his bedroom in Atlanta.

“With a height of an enormous 1.60 m, he is the boss of the New York Sky. Kai Cenat,” said the LBA presenter as he announced Cenat to applause.

Fans of various ages sat in the crowd with large cutouts of Cenat's head. Other popular streamers like Tylil James sat on the sidelines cheering on the New York Sky. At 22 years old and a few feet taller than his teammates and opponents, Cenat ironically stood out by being a stark difference from the NBA's average height of 6 feet 2 inches. But what they lacked in size, they made up for in determination.

The opposing team, the Dallas Giants, battled the New York Sky, with the young boys fighting for a win in the league's first game. It was a time for the young players to shine and show off their skills as they dribbled up and down the court, making plays and scoring shots. However, Cenat's first-half performance gave clues as to why he was drafted last in his own league. Dressed in a dark blue and orange New York Sky jersey, he scored just two points in the first half.

But from Cenat's missed shots and several falls, it became clear that his goal was to give the young basketball players the opportunity to showcase their skills and play in a semi-professional environment.

The New York Sky defeated the Dallas Giants 53-44.
