Princess Kate And King Charles were hailed as inspirations from Sarah Ferguson about how well they responded to their cancer diagnosis.

The Duchess of York said the Princess of Wales and the monarch were a role model for all families embarking on a “health journey” and had high praise for them Kate's latest video update.

Fergie praised the king and future queen for speaking openly about their health issues. She said: “I think they are a role model for all families who are following their own health journey.”

She said she loved that Princess Kate said she was “always there for you” in her video, adding: “It was a beautiful video with beautiful words.”

It was Kate Treatment for an unknown form of cancer since the end of February, after the king began his cancer treatment earlier the same month.

In a heartfelt message in the video, Kate described the past nine months as “incredibly hard” for the Waleses and how “the cancer journey is complex, scary and unpredictable for everyone”, with the experience giving her a “new perspective on everything”. “

She said she looks forward to being back at work and taking on some more public engagements in the coming months.

Kate attended the matinee show of Giselle at the English National Ballet on Thursday (September 26) at Sadler's Wells Theater in London.

In an exclusive interview with People In the New York magazine, the Duchess of York praised King Charles Meeting with patients at Macmillan Cancer Center at University College Hospital in London in April.

She described the visit, which was the royal's first public appearance since Buckingham Palace published the news of his cancer diagnosis, as “very brave” and “very courageous”. The duchess said the visit would have given people hope.

Fergie told the publication about her own health that “you never really get rid of the worry.” The Duchess was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2023 and with malignant melanoma in January this year.

The duchess said her experience of a mastectomy, further tests and thoughts that she might get cancer again had led to “a lot of very fragile mental work”.

She described her health as “really good” now, but she didn't exert herself too much during her trip to New York, where the duchess announced the launch of the Youth Impact Council, of which she is a founding ambassador.

YIC aims to empower young people to help tackle issues such as climate change. Sarah Ferguson announced the launch on Thursday (September 26) at New York Climate Week.

Sarah said at the launch: “My generation has not acted quickly enough to address some of the great challenges of our time.”

“Too often, young people are denied the resources, recognition and seat at the table they deserve. The goal of the Youth Impact Council is to change that.”
