Man arrested for allegedly masturbating and slapping co-worker at Clark College

VANCOUVER Washington (KPTV) – A man was arrested Saturday for indecent exposure and sexual assault of a teenage girl and an employee at Clark College earlier this week, according to Vancouver police.

Around 7 a.m. Thursday, a 17-year-old student reported to Clark College security that a strange man followed her off the bus, asked her age and made comments that made her feel “uncomfortable and afraid,” she said the police with.

Security guards then reviewed campus videos and found a man matching the description in a public area of ​​campus appearing to be masturbating.

Shortly after 1 p.m., campus security met with police to report the incident

Then, at 4:30 p.m. that same day, police responded to the college again when security reported the man had returned and they wanted him to officially trespass. Security guards also said the man slapped a female employee on the buttocks.

Before police arrived, security guards found the man in one of the restrooms, but he pushed past them and ran away from campus. The staff followed him toward downtown Vancouver. However, the police could not find the man this Thursday.

On Friday, police contacted college security and said they had identified the man as Nolen Sanchez.

Police found and arrested Sanchez on Saturday and booked him into the Clark County Jail on charges of indecent exposure and fourth-degree sexual battery.
