Four defendants after fatal knife attack on teenager

Investigators have filed charges against four people in connection with the fatal knife attack on a 19-year-old man.

The teenager's body was found when officers were called to a ground floor flat on Lefroy Road in the Mile Cross area of ​​Norwich at 10:40pm BST on September 21.

On Saturday, Norfolk Police charged a 22-year-old man from London with offenses including murder and being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.

A 55-year-old man and a 51-year-old woman, both from Norwich, have also been charged with murder. A 51-year-old man from Norwich has been charged with assisting an offender.

All four were remanded in custody and are due to appear at Norwich Magistrates' Court on Monday.

An autopsy revealed the teenager died from a stab wound to the chest.

He was named as Kalvin Taylor from London.

In a police statement, his mother said: “It is so devastating what happened to my son.

“It tore our family into a million pieces that we will never recover from.

“Kalvin was a son, a grandson, a brother, a cousin and a friend to all of us. We will remember and miss Kalvin all the days of our lives.

“We love you Calvin, rest in heavenly peace until we meet again.”

A teenager arrested for conspiracy to murder has been released on bail. The police are asking for witnesses.
