With Jordan Love on track to return, will the Packers use Love and Malik Willis?

Jordan Love will apparently be back on Sunday, just 23 days after suffering a knee injury that looked much worse than it turned out.

This is reported by Adam Schefter from ESPN.com Love is expected to be active on Sunday against the Vikings.

The news was essentially confirmed by the fact that the Packers did not sign Sean Clifford from the practice squad, something they had done each of the last two weeks.

After Love's MCL tear on September 6th, we reported that it was Love expected return in Week 4, Week 5 or Week 6.

Malik Willis performed well in two starts and won both. And some believe a more run-focused attack from Willis would fare better against Minnesota's defense than Green Bay's usual West Coast attack, which the Vikings have deployed against the 49ers and Texans over the past two weeks.

Dianna Russini of TheAthletic.com reported today that if Love plays, the Packers could use a package for Willis. Which would potentially put the Vikings on their heels rather than the other way around.
