Motorcyclist killed in Rock Hill crash

The accident occurred around 6:40 p.m. on Porter Road near the intersection with Neely's Creek Road.

ROCK HILL, S.C. – One person died in a crash near Rock Hill Saturday evening, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

The accident occurred around 6:40 p.m. on Porter Road near the intersection with Neely's Creek Road.

According to officials, the motorcyclist strayed into the northbound lane and crashed into the other car.

The driver of the car and his passenger were taken to the hospital to be treated for their injuries.

The motorcyclist, who has not been publicly identified, died at the scene of the accident.

The crash is still under investigation.
