Scranton man arrested for alleged domestic violence | Raccoon Valley Radio

A Scranton man was recently arrested for a suspected domestic assault.

According to court documents, the investigation began on Sept. 20 when the victim said 26-year-old Dalton Weber solicited sexual intercourse in the garage of his Scranton home. Court documents show the victim refused and they then left in his truck and drove to Scranton Pond. The victim claims that his e-cigarette device and cell phone were stolen by Weber and cell service was disabled.

The criminal complaint states that the victim was reaching toward the driver's seat for his vaping device when Weber pushed the victim's head against the steering wheel, causing injuries to the victim's lip and eye. When initially questioned, Weber denied that it was an attack. After investigation, it was determined that the injuries were consistent with the victim's statements and Weber was the attacker.

Later that day, Weber was arrested and charged with a Class D felony for his third or subsequent offense of domestic violence. He was booked into the Greene County Jail and a no-contact order was issued to the victim. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
