Crime in Houston, Texas: Four shots fired after nightclub fight

According to police, the security guard was trying to break up the fight when shots were fired.

HOUSTON – A large brawl at a west Houston nightclub resulted in a security guard and three other people being shot early Sunday morning, according to police.

This happened around 4 a.m. on Fondren Road near Westheimer Road.

According to police, the security guard was trying to break up the fight when shots were fired. He was hit in the leg. HPD said the guard was treated at the scene and released. Three other people later showed up at area hospitals with gunshot wounds as a result of the incident, police said.

All victims are expected to be OK.

Houston police said no witnesses remained at the scene. If you have any information about what happened you are asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
