Police make arrest after driver causes car crash in central Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Lincoln police arrested a 19-year-old man Sunday after he crashed his vehicle, damaging at least five other people, and fled the scene.

According to Lincoln police, witnesses saw a pickup truck traveling south on 25th Street near J Street when it crashed and overturned on its side at 10:51 a.m

According to LPD, the driver of the truck, 19-year-old Timothy Adams, attempted to flee the accident but was caught and arrested.

According to LPD, at least five vehicles were damaged as a result of the accident.

Adams was arrested for drunk driving, attempting to leave the scene of an accident, reckless driving and no seatbelt.
