A photo of Tim Waltz from the Michigan-Minnesota college football game goes viral. Several social media users posted the image and claimed that the Harris vice president gave “the middle finger” to the crowds there after a fan shouted “Trump for 2024.” Neither the Harris campaign nor the governor of Minnesota have responded to these claims.

Walz was at the Michigan Wolverines-Minnesota Golden Gophers football game on Saturday. In videos posted on social media, several fans could be seen booing the vice presidential hopeful. However, it was an image that sparked controversy. In the photo, the Minnesota governor was seen walking with his middle finger pointing up.

In response to the photo, one person tweeted, “Tim Walz stuck his middle finger up at a Michigan fan who yelled 'Trump 2024 baby!' Is this what you really want as Vice President, someone who can’t even keep his composure or control himself, Stolen Valor Tampon Tim Walz?”

“Tim Walz gave the middle finger to a Michigan fan who yelled “Trump 2024, baby!” “Walz is like a child,” said another on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.

“Walz gives someone in the crowd the middle finger and shouts Trump 2024. Strange behavior,” a third person added.

While it's unknown whether Walz actually gave a fan the middle finger, the photo sparked a lot of criticism from him. Angry Michigan fans were seen booing Harris' vice president after he made them wait in the rain while his motorcade arrived at the stadium. At the stadium in Ann Arbor, hundreds of people could be heard chanting “Tampon Tim” — a mockery of Walz for allowing free tampons in schools, including in boys’ rooms.
